J. Calvin Parsons conceived The Bedrock Foundation while serving in men’s ministry at a local church in Brooklyn, New York. He recognized the challenges of engaging and organizing men who were unsure of the steps to take toward self-improvement and believed that the creation of a bold, high-quality training and development center could help equip and mobilize them to take action. Utilizing his professional experience as a strategic HR consultant he began to work with males in schools and community organizations and was instrumental in helping many of them find quality jobs, improve their communication skills, and make better decisions regarding their needs and wants. His dedication and vision has allowed us to offer an array of services that impact males at all stages of their lives.
