Our Mission

Train. Develop. Mobilize Males.

Founded in 2015, The Bedrock Foundation is a training and development center that provides structure and support to males through easily accessible, comprehensive, and long-term services.  Bedrock offers wrap around evidence-based programming in a culturally responsive environment.  We engage, equip, and challenge males to be excellent in work, leadership, and service locally and globally.

The organization focuses on issues such as career readiness and advancement, mental health, social justice and equity, conflict resolution, financial literacy and economic empowerment, leadership development and community involvement, academic fitness, and the role of faith in identifying purpose and pursuing goals.

Bedrock provides rites of passage programming, exercise and recreational activities, job search and interview training, motivational speakers, individual development sessions, volunteer opportunities and organizational consultation.

We are guided by Christian principles and values.  We serve males from all backgrounds, ethnicities, faith traditions and perspectives.  We believe in proactively seeking out males through door-to-door interactions, creative social media marketing, grassroots campaigning, community networks and strategic partnerships.

Our theory of change is to provide multi-layered support, structure, hope, and authentic love to our brothers, to teach them self-worth, accountability, and quality decision-making, and then to offer opportunities to exercise their freedom, help others, and transform their world.

"Men are not born, they are built."
